JOURNEY OF RUMPUS
How my masterpiece was conceived
RUMPUS was designed so that people of all ages can play a fun card game filled with fun and competitive combat.

PROTOTYPING
Creating RUMPUS was a long process of trial and error. There were many moments where I had to scratch the idea and try again. For me, combat was the most difficult idea to make because the game needs to be fun, playable and understandable. Prototyping began with many index cards, redesigning, playing and making sure the came was finally functional! Eventually when the game was 100% effective, and the play testers agreed that they enjoyed the game. I was finally able to design the cards, and get them sent off to be playable.
Below are blueprints and game developments notes on how the stages of the game came to be.

PLAY TEST 1
The first play test was not successful but it's what pushed me to developing proper gameplay and combat
PLAY TEST 2
The second play test was extremely successful, and this became the basis of the game.
PLAY TEST 4
By the 4th play test we were able to truly grasp the game and it was decided that the game was officially fully functional, and was playable more than 3 players.
